I had the pleasure of going through Drew's portfolio. Some of the major points of constructive feedback were to play with the ratio between interior and exterior exposures more subtly, make sure you're uploading consistently clear files to your online portfolios, and to ramp up the amount of flash in the flash/ambient ratios.

It is great to play with shadow and depth when shooting resorts and hotels, but take special care to keep the bed linens and other neutrals in the room as neutral as possible. Yellowing, or overly warm linens and walls is not becoming, and happens easily within shadow areas. I think medical packaging is good inspiration because it tends to be very clean and vibrant.
